|Summary:||The FLY.PT project aims to develop products and services in an integrated way and with a unique global vision, based on a demonstrator of an urban and electric multimodal transport system. This new transport system combines an autonomous electric vehicle with an autonomous aerial vehicle by coupling / uncoupling a passenger cabin, allowing for horizontal and vertical mobility with minimal passenger intervention. FLY.PT will create a technological and knowledge base necessary to address the air transport revolution, including technologies related to the electrification of aircraft and autonomous systems.
Highlighting the level of innovation associated with the project, both with integrated demonstrators and with high technological content themes, such as propulsion, artificial intelligence and avionics, batteries, innovative structures, design and the new concepts of use.
The products, processes and services will be based on the transversal mobilization of human resources, with a vast curriculum and experience in the development and implementation of R&D projects in the thematic areas of FLY.PT.
